Protocol: We could take a cell from a living thing and observe the behavior of how it reacts to a stimulus under neath a microscope. Keep the cell underneath the microscope and see if it is a multicellular or unicellular organism, while seeing its structure.
    Materials:
    3 different substances (Substance a,bSeveral particles of Substance A, B and c)C.
    Microscope slides
    Cover slip
    50 mL of water
    Microscope
    Eyedropper
    Procedures:
    1. Set up your microscope.

Substance B: Too much of the substance combined with water, turns into a liquid.
Substance C: Doesn't look to be living because the Substance C is dark, not moving and isn't made up of cells.
    Conclusion:
Since Substance B was the only one that react to the stimulus, Substance B is the only living substance between the three.

Cells are defined as living organisms. All living things are composed of one or more cells. There is unicellular and multicellular organisms. Unicellular consists of one cell, while multicellular consist of many cells.
Characteristics: needs energy: sunlight, glucose (sugar), water. Cells have structure, functions, they reproduce, and have DNA.
    ...
    Procedures:
    1. Set up your microscope.
    2. Take several particles of a substance and place it on a microscope slide.
    2.
    Place one-two

on the substance, to create wet mound slide.
    3. Place the different substances in the center of the wet slide.
    mound.
    4. Then place the cover slip on top of the substance.
    5. Observe under the microscope.
    6. Repeat for the other two substances.

    Observations:
Substance A: Looks like brown specks. 3 different shades of brown. All look almost the same except for two black circles in the center.
